INTAKE & INSURANCE

INTAKE & INSURANCE

If your child is struggling because of autism, ADHD/ADD, or other developmental disorders, it’s time to get them the help they need to succeed.

Let’s start the intake process today.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • A Copy of Your Health Insurance.
  • Your Child’s Most Recent Diagnostic Evaluation.
  • A Prescription for ABA Therapy (from your child’s physician, pediatrician, or licensed clinical psychologist.)

The Steps of Our Process

Verification of Documents

Once you apply, we contact your insurance company to verify your benefits and coverage. At this stage we also work to determine an estimate on out-of-pocket costs for you. This step takes up to 5 business days.

Approval for an ABA Therapy Assessment

The next step is to request authorization from your insurance company for an initial ABA assessment. This step takes up to 7 business days, but once we receive approval, your child’s assessment appointment can be scheduled.

The Assessment

Your child is scheduled for an appointment with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who performs an assessment on the needs of your child for ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, and/or Occupational Therapy.

Your Child’s Treatment Plan

Based on the results of the assessment appointment, the BCBA builds a treatment plan customized to the needs of your child. This takes about 3 business days. Once that plan is ready, the recommendations will be reviewed with you.

ABA Therapy Sessions Begin

Our team reaches out to you to discuss treatment hours, appointment scheduling, and to go over your transportation needs. Sessions may take place at our treatment center, in your home, or in the community.
